Always Anything Goes @ Color It Create It Show It Off - Sherri Baldy style! Fluffy's!

We're so lucky over at Color It Create It Show It Off that we get to work/Play with the wonderful images of Sherri Baldy-they are so much fun!  She has a line of beauties called Fluffy's and I must say I sure feel a kinship with them, ahhh as I assimilate with them!
This is image 044 Fluffy and she combines a tad bit of sexiness and a love for shoes all in one!  I've had this crazy animal print paper in my stash forever and now I know that I was just waiting for this image to come along!  I used Teal based copics to color her up and of course, put her on the perfect "throne" -Clouds!  Under the sheer ribbon/bow is a cluster of flowers from Petal Lu.  On the inside liner I used a complimentary design paper along with a Friends rubber stamp.  This ATG Challenge is just waiting for your project!  We can't wait to get inspired!
I'd like to enter this in the following Challenge:

Clean and Simple CAS over at Crafting When We Can--Come Play with us!

Over at Crafting When We Can, the theme this week is CAS--Clean and Simple.  This has got to be the most challenging theme for me because I tend to pile it on a card.  But I must say I really found that I like that "freshness" of using the image that way!  This week over at CWWC, our sponsor is Doodle Digis and this image is 1 of 2 images on the stamp Bea & Tea.
After coloring her up with copics, I fancy cut her and glazed the sunglasses.  I scattered Kraftin' Kimmie's Sparkles in a deep blue and gorgeous turquoise across the page.  Then I put 1 strip of water waves paper across the paper.   On the inside, I used the whole wave paper and used  Happy Birthday stamp-I can always use those!
Come over and play in our Challenge and let us get inspiration from your beautiful projects!

Bugaboo sponsors Challenge at Come and Get It! Theme Circles-Always ATG!

I'm posting this a little late due to a back issue but am so excited to get my contribution posted to the Come and Get It Challenge site.  We have such wonderful sponsors and this image I used is called KidzDaisy from Bugaboo Stamps!  Our theme this week is to use CIRCLES.  I'm sure it's something you can find in your scrapbooking stash!
After coloring my image with copics, I mounted some black paper lace along one side.  In order to continue the black accent, I just used a strip of black cardstock and stamped a sentiment from KKS in white ink.  Now not only are there black dots on the red "ladybug" sections on the image but of course you see the black dots against the vivid green cardstock.  Was planning on using this for a Halloween card-but can see it's really versatile in other ways. Then to finish the card, I placed some black paper on the liner and stamped again a friendship verse in white ink.  There are so many uses for this card!  Come show us your creation and join us over at Come and Get It!

It's time to go to the Beach at Crafting When We Can!!

What a FUN image this was to color-Thank you Doodle Digistamps!  This image is one-half of the Bea & Tea stamp and made me think of my granddaughter who is on Spring Break now!  The card was created for Crafting When We Can Challenge which can be found here.
After coloring her up with a tan and sunburn (looks kind of pale in the picture tho) I added some water paper, beach themed design paper and fancy cut an embossed sunshine and elevated it with dimensional pop dots.  The stamp on the front and the inside is from KKS.
The inside liner has the design paper reversed-looks like water waves and has glittered bubbles in waves also.  Just love how it all came together.  Come over and play with us at the Challenge-we would LOVE to see your projects!!

Reminder~ there's a ATG Challenge over at Color It Create It Show It Off!!

This was such an awesome image to color and create a card with for the unique group:  Color It Create It Show It Off.  We love using Sherri Baldy images and this one is officially called Img 957  and I used Tim Holtzs' Peeled Paint Distress Ink to edge it.
I just love this hot pink color I used for the daisy and the image gave me a chance to work with this curly hair that is such fun!!  I was so lucky that in my stash, I found the perfect glitter embossed paper in kind-of a 60's/70's style vibe.  Thought the combination of flowers helped to soften it a bit.  On the inside (I always make them complete), I used more of the retro paper and then matched the label die cut color to that paper and used a sentiment stamp from KKS to finish it.
This is a reminder that we still have a Challenge going on til the end of the month over at Color It Create It Show It Off.  Come over and join us and let us see your creations-we LOVE to be inspired!  It's always ATG at our challenges- just use your imagination!

Chasing Butterflies over at Come and Get It! IN THE GARDEN is our Theme~ATG

Well Spring is really in the air with temps in the 60's and lower 70's--I hope where ever you are that you're finally feeling some warmth in the air!
This week at Come and Get It our Theme is "In the Garden" which is always where I want to be!  The image I'm using , from Cute As a Button, is called Chasing Butterflies and reminds me so much of my daughter!  We love our flowers in this family and always chasing butterflies for her 4H project!
I colored her up in my favorite medium, Copics.  I like splitting the background papers-sort of balances the scene.  You can see the dimensional effects I added, the cloud and the fence-both of which are shaded but the lighting makes it a little hard to see and some purple "goosebumps" in the bottom right corner.
I used paper lace under the matted picture but on top of the accent strip.
On the inside, I finished with with the dark purple design paper and a double matted sentiment--What a great card to get as a Thank You!
So now it's your turn-come over to Come and Get It and show us your latest project.  It will be an inspiration to us and love to get new ideas!

On the inside, I finished with complimentary orange micro dots and a sentiment stamp from KKS.  Voila, it's already to go and cheer up anyone that's special to you!

Birthday Boy Card at the Crafting When We Can Challenge

Working on something different for Crafting When We Can this week, a Birthday Card for a young tyke!  It gave me a chance to use some great pre-colored images from Doodle Pantry from a group called Toy Truck Ants.  BECAUSE, the theme is animals....I may be stretching it with Ants but I will try to make it work!  The great thing about her sets is not only do you get images but also accent solids and patterned papers.  And because they are pngs, you can digitally alter them and layer them on your base.
The sentiment in the set I matted it with the yellow solid included.  Created a "ribbon" of yellow by narrowing down the sides.  I used the brown patterned paper to create a "dirt road" at the bottom of the card.  For the inside of the card, I matted yet another sentiment with the blue solid "paper" and layed that over this great toy truck overloaded design paper!  This is the beauty of digital sets and Doodle Pantry has produced many sets in their history.  At Crafting When We Can, they like to showcase many different methods and styles so we get to have lots of fun!  Come join in our Challenge with your favorite animal card!
