It's Anything Goes with Sherri Baldy Images-Monthly Challenge at Color It, Creat It, and Show It Off!

I just love the Fall colors that I used with this image from Sherri Baldy and it's a perfect theme for a Thanksgiving Day card!  It's Img0061 from her store here and while I imagine that she's loving some hot coffee in the morning, for me it would be a large cup of hot chocolate!  This is my first card for the Sherri Baldy group, Color It, Create It, Show It Off Challenge and it's a month long event that I would love for you to join us in!
I double matted her colored image and then used the fall leaves paper from my stash.  Down at the bottom right corner, I used a burgundy colored sticker that says "Thankful" and then mounted 2 glittered metal fall leaves on either side.  On the inside, I used this glorious rich red paper with muted leaves, and swirly script sentiments all over it.  Found this perfect transparent sticker that says GIVE THANKS.  I can't wait to send it to a close friend.
Please come join us for our Challenge-we don't use the Random Generator for this--the DT votes on the winners which I think makes it much more personal!  The Winner gets a gift of 4 Sherri Baldy images and each of the 3 runner ups get 1 free image-how great is that!!!  See you there!
I'd like to enter this card in the following Challenges:
WINNER at Scrapbook Stamp Society Challenge-rec'd 2 free digis!  Thanks Gals!

Rick St. Dennis is bringing Christmas to me-Sponsoring us at Craft Your Passion!

I just love this image from Rick St. Dennis called "Christmas Dance".  He has great shading built into the images making it real easy to shadow your work.  It's always "Anything Goes" at Craft Your Passion and this was a great time to get a Christmas card done!
I decided to do a different take and make this card an Easel Card.  Covered the front with a festive Tree paper with a trim of red velvet ribbon and white pearls.  You can't really tell from the photos but, there is a Wink of Stella on Santa's fur and Mrs. Claus' stars.
On the inside, some great sentiment paper in reds and greens.  I added a cardstock word with lots of red glitter "JOY" and a Jolee poinsettia in a shimmery red paper.
Please come join us in the challenge and show us your beautiful creations!

Bugaboo Stamps is sponsoring us at Come and Get It Challenge

This Challenge at Come and Get It is sponsored by Bugaboo and if you know their images, they are always good for a chuckle!  This digital is called Girlz Coffee and I like how modern and relative she is!
I tried a new technique for me that is, and that was masking off the area of the cup so that I could sponge on the distress ink.  I've seen this pattern on several cups-even tho' I don't drink coffee.  It was a learning curve but I'm pretty happy with it!  I'm sure my boo-boo is evident where the green encroached on the wrapper but I hope I hid it somewhat!
I have a tree bark paper as a mat with green buttons as an accent.  I found this sentiment and did some fancy cutting around the swirly steam-mounted some pop dots behind it and curved the front of the piece with my finger-tucked some fall leaves under the curve for some color.  Think you could just wrap your hands around the card! and feel the warmth!
On the inside of the card I used some paper that reminds me of a bag of Colombian Coffee and a great sentiment for the theme of the card-remember Humorous.
Come and join us with your creation!  Winner could win 7 digital images from Bugaboo!  Can't wait to see yours!

Working on Christmas cards at Craft Your Passion-Digital Delights by Louby Loo is our gracious sponsor!

This little cutie called "Sleigh Ride Marcie" from our sponsor Digital Delights by Louby Loo where if you are a winner you will get a $5 voucher in her store!
We here at Craft Your Passion are so thankful for their participation with us!
This design is very unique and detailed but so much FUN!  I colored her with copics and then used White flower Soft on her "fur" on her cap- stickles on her snowflake.  I love how the micro red/white dot paper is just the right "anchor" on the busy Christmas words paper.  I added a red hemp bow holding a bright silver snowflake.  I finished the inside of the card using fishtail banners of accent papers, stamped a sentiment from KKS in cherry red and attached a shimmery snowflake there also.  Plenty of room to wish your friends a wonderful Merry Christmas!

ATG over at All Dressed Up! Use an All Dressed Up Image ~

At All Dressed Up we are having a Blog Challenge that runs for a month-Yep until the evening of the 14th of November!  Plenty of time to get your freebies here or visit the ADU Store here!  You will have a hard time deciding because they are all amazing!
My heartstrings were just pulled when I saw "Little Skater" in the store-she is so pretty.
I colored her with copics, sticking to purples (stockings and scarf) and shades of blue, and used white opal Liquid Pearls for her ice skates.  Her ear muffs are covered with white Flower Soft to simulate fur.  Copic B60 is like a cross between lavender and light blue so perfect for the background sky-then I laid a layer of icy blue for the skating rink.  Then White Chunky Frantage all over for snowflakes!
Thought I would give you a close up of the feathery flower/snowflake cluster in the corner.  Look closely for the crystal jewels that are scattered throughout!
Besides the image, the jeweltone blue background is a standout on this card.  It's actually individual 5-sided multi-shaded blue "chips" that are adhered to the cardstock- pretty thick layered.  It really gives it a prismatic look-I've tilted the card so you could get a look.  On the inside liner, I've got a white embossed speckled cardstock, a matted Christmas sentiment with a blue/silver foil snowflake accent.  Ahh this beauty is finished and ready to deliver to a friend!

I really love girly cards and I'm so lucky to be on the UK DT of Sherri Baldy's My Besties Group--because so many of her images (this one is img 706) have ruffles, bows, curly cues in the hair just to name a few girly things!!!
This image is no different!  I instantly started looking for paper with flowers, lace, flowers, and bling!  I'm a hopeless romantic for sure.
I used a 6x6 scalloped edge card that believe it or not I got from a UK site that was closing down-More Girly!  I ran some heavy lace down one side of the copic colored image and then put tiny pearls along the lace flowers.  I found quite an assortment of flowers in different colors and sizes for the bottom corner.  On the inside, a complimentary stripe with a heavy cardstock sentiment grouping-It's neat that a variety of them come on a sheet and you just pick the one you want.
I had a very special Lady to send this to for her Birthday-my cousin, we are the only 2 women in the whole close family.  Even though we live far apart, we're never too far from each others thoughts.
Just as a reminder, there's still time in the month to enter one of your creations in our Challenge-come out and play!
If you use our theme this month

It's SKETCH time at the Come and Get It Challenge! Sponsor is A Day for Daisies!!

This week at Come and Get It Challenge, we are using a sketch for our creations.  Aren't they great when you just get stuck?  Our images are furnished by A Day for Daisies, Sami has just great images for you to use-check the site out soon!  This one is called Candy Elf and it makes a great Christmas card!
Background is a kraft toned Christmas word paper, with a rusty red plaid mat around the oval image.  I used silver bell brads on this stocking cap and added Chunky white Frantage with a touch of glitter for a snowy effect.  I took liberties with the wide horizontal bank, instead electing to use 2 red glittered rick rac in it's place.  On the inside,I again used the plaid and added coordinated cardstock stickers spelling out JOY and a matching tag with a red jewel.  Think it's a Festive card for our challenge this week!
The Winner of the Challenge will receive a $12 Gift certificate (3 Images) Come and join us for all the fun ~

New Release time at All Dressed Up-Hard to choose just one Favorite!

I've got another opportunity to display some of Wendy Burn's great digital images for All Dressed Up.  This one is called Little Birdie and I'm so thrilled to show it to you as one of the newest DT members of the Blog Team.  Today we are focusing on Wendy's newest released images!  This happens twice a month-how lucky are WE!!
One of my favorite color combinations is green and blue and this little birdie made me think of the "Blue Bird of Happiness"...that's my state of mind lately!  Used this great plaid paper from Lawn Fawn, a mat finish cardstock in green and textured denim blue mat from my stash.  I need to do more redheads 'cause I love the way this turned out!  I put some clear Wink of Stella on the bluebird.  Perfect that I had this wonderful woven green center daisy ribbon (it also comes in yellow and pink!) and placed it at the bottom of the image.  Used a great heavy cardstock Hello sticker and placed a matching blue epoxy dot on it and anchoring the bottom corner.  On the inside, I used 2 "fishtail" banners is coordinating colors then stamped a friendship message on the inside.  I hope this will entice you to go check out Wendy's packed shop and find some adorable images for YOUR creations!  Bet you can't choose just one!

Always Anything Goes at Craft Your Passion--Imagine That! Digis by Kris is sponsoring us!

Have I mentioned that at times I'm thrilled with the option to use colored digital images on cards?!  Well such is the case this week at our Craft Your Passion Challenge.  I am using a image called "Autumn" from Imagine That! Digis by Kris
and it's perfect just the way it is!!  AND I needed this time Cruncher for sure this week!
So I decided to use several layers of digital papers that I had on my computer and placed them on a 6x6 format.  Everything BUT the sun cardstock sticker in the corner, the loose leafs and epoxy orange dots are flattened on a digital format.  The images from Kris are very crisp and clear true colors so I love the picture she created in her digi.  The image if you were to purchase would also include the b&w image that you could design just the way you wanted to!  Great versatility!
I always finish the insides also of my cards so once again using the digital papers, the background is a grungy green and the yellow polka-dot is a full size paper that I just chopped down and made it like a ribbon.  Believe it or not Google png Fall Images and this row of leaves will pop up among other great accents.  I shrunk it down and attached it-easy peasy!  Most of these are free images/photos that are online for you to use.  The sentiment is also in this set from Kris- I just set it off with green epoxy dots.  Thanks for taking a look at my creation and check out our Always Anything Goes Challenge and get your project ready to post!
I'd like to enter this in the following Challenge:

It's Christmas Comes Early at Crafting When We Can! Our sponsor is Lacy Sunshine Stamps!

It's never too early to start on your Christmas cards Ladies and at Crafting When We Can, we are happy to  be sponsored by Lacy Sunshine Stamps and our Theme is "Christmas Comes Early".  I'm using the image Rory's Christmas Princess and have wanted to color her up for quite a while.
I used copics to color her, white flower soft around the bottom edge of her dress, diamond stickles on the dress and a Wink of clear Stella on the folds, ornaments, and petticoat ruffles.  I love the background effect, almost like there was some snow softly falling.  I have this wonderful gold fringe braid with adhesive -thought it looked elegant at the bottom of the image.  The flowers are a cluster of Petal lu, and some sparkled pink accent flowers with Pink Pearls to accent the front.
The finished inside liner has the reverse of the gold snowflake paper used on the front.  I stamped one of my favorite Christmas sayings on a great gold cardstock and accented it with a white poinsettia.  Just waiting for the perfect person on my Christmas Card List.  Please visit Crafting When We Can and get some inspiration for YOUR list!

Joining the All Dressed Up Design Team!!! What an Honor!

For a long time I have really wanted to belong to the All Dressed Up DT and have finally made it!!  Over the Moon excited!  This week they are Introducing the DT so come on over and see all
the beautiful creations we all have made!
The image I chose was called "Magical Day" and the sentiment comes with it.  This adorable little witch is all done in Copics and she was great to color up!  I also added some small black sequins on her hat and dress and scattered around.  Then up in the moon that I created with some distress Ink called Scattered Straw, I put some more yellow/orange sequins too. A Bat and felt pumpkin round out the little scene!  Oh and can't forget the mysterious blackish clouds!  The eerie purple cobweb paper and the angled black glitter cardstock fit right in with the Autumn/Halloween  theme that is going on with the ADU Facebook Challenge that also starts today here.
On the inside liner, I also finished it with a grungy chevron paper in all the great Halloween colors.  I added some cardstock stickers and another felt pumpkin.  I loved how it turned out.  And finally if you want to buy these amazing images - please go to our Etsy store and browse through, your only challenge is choosing one!
If you're inspired by the projects here - please check out our Pinterest page for more.  Our new releases will be out for the 7th and we can't wait to show them to you!

New Release at Sasayaki Glitter of some great Images! Come check us out!

What a fun Fall image this was to color up for the New Release from Sasayaki Glitter!  The image if called Fall Peggy and she's so much fun!  Naz Smith the owner of SG always has unique images in her store-several with Peggy!  Not only does she have new releases but also challenges-check them out here.
I love the Fall season and I think I found the most gorgeous paper in my paper stash for the background of my card~ After coloring Fall Peggy, I double matted her (one of which was a burlap look).  I cut this wide burlap ribbon in half and shredded it, glued it on with Zip 2way and put a rust colored button accent at the side. The Fall Harvest sentiment is a cardstock sticker.  I always finish the inside and loved this fun pumpkin print done on a kraft background paper.  This sentiment is one I got from a swap party where we exchanged double-matted stamped images--Great way to use up scraps!  During slow times, I like to stamp and use up my scraps this way!
Come visit us at Sasayaki Glitter to see the new releases and get inspired to submit your own creations to our Challenges!  Can't wait to see them!
